Dr. Sean Gorby, P.HD., LPCC-S
Clinical Director
Dr. Gorby values a co-constructed space where he matches the client’s expertise on their life and how they interact with the world with his expertise in human development, relationship dynamics, thoughts, emotions, and behavioral change to achieve clients’ goals. Dr. Gorby works to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders across the lifespan, working with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, families and couples. Perhaps most notably, Dr. Gorby finds tremendous meaning and purpose in working with couples to maximize their relationship satisfaction, connection, and intimacy, believing that your relationship with your partner is the most important human relationship for healthy family dynamics, healthy parenting, personal wellness, and overall life satisfaction.

Laci Carsey, M.Ed., LPCC-S
Director of Supervision & Training
Laci strives to provide a counseling experience that is welcoming, eclectic, and non-judgemental in which offers clients a flexible approach tailored to their unique needs, drawing from a variety of therapeutic methods. She creates a safe and accepting space where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their emotions, thoughts, or experiences without fear of criticism. Laci enjoys developing clinicians in cultivating strong therapeutic skills, ethical judgement, and cultural competence through education, supervision, and hands-on experience. As Director of Training and Supervision, Laci provides guidance, structure, and mentorship to developing clinicians, ensuring they deliver ethical and effective care. Laci oversees clinical education, facilitates professional growth, and fosters a supportive learning environment that promotes competence and confidence.

Kait Mathias
Office Director
As the director of our counseling office, Kait expresses gratitude to work alongside such a passionate and skilled team. Kait cares deeply about creating a supportive, welcoming space - for both our staff and the individuals we serve. Kait’s approach is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and a genuine belief in people’s capacity to grow and heal. Kait expresses the privilege to be a part of this work and this community.

With over a decade of experience in office administration, Kait brings a strong foundation in organizational management, billing coordination, and customer service excellence. Kait’s background spans from healthcare administration to general office operations, where she successfully supported teams, streamlined processes, and maintained accurate financial and patient records. Kait specializes in managing day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and delivering reliable, client-focused service. Whether handling sensitive healthcare information or improving office efficiency, Kait thrives on creating order and providing dependable support.

Administrative Support
At RCC, we strive to create an environment that is welcoming, judgement-free, and healing - where every client feels seen, supported, and safe. I bring a bubbly but calm presence to the office, always ready with a warm smile and a helping hand to put people at ease before their appointment. With over 20 years of experience in office administration and customer service - including 10 years in healthcare and mental health, I’m passionate about helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. Like a good hike, healing takes time, support, and the right path. I’m just here to help people find their footing.

Payton Gilliland, M.Ed., LPC

Payton integrates evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs, partnered with an emphasis on their specific skills and strengths to aid them in pursuing their goals. Her desire is to help clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Whether you’re facing concerns related to sexuality, spirituality, relationships, trauma, or communication or simply seeking personal growth, Payton is excited to join you on your journey to wellness and fulfillment.
